| Man | We like Madrid. We went there last year. |
| 1st woman | I prefer a small town. A village. |
| Man | A quiet village which is near the sea. |
| 2nd woman | A quiet village near the sea. Look. What do you think of this? It is four kilometres from the sea. 1st woman: That looks nice. |
| 2nd woman | And there's a good hotel which is very quiet. |
| Husband | I like Denmark. |
| Wife | But we went there last year. I prefer Greece. Shall we go to a small village in the south? Look. What about this? |
| Husband | Very nice, and looks quiet. But it's six kilometres from the sea. I like to be near the beach. |
| Husband | Can we have a double room, please? |
| Receptionist | Certainly. With a bath or a shower? |
| Husband | We prefer the room which has a shower. |
| Wife | And I like one which is not too noisy. |
| Receptionist | This room is very quiet, madam. |
